losing Tyler the kitty who Could.

This is a really hard blog for me to write. about 3 weeks ago Martin Luther king week or so My Mother in law and I noticed that Tyler was giving off a foul oder really bad and he had been passing really bad gas. we found him under one of the twin beds in the spare bedroom. He was all curled up and I had to move the bed away from the wall and pry him out by coaxing him to go twards my Mother in law. When we finally got him out he was very thin and he stunk to high heaven as she would say so we called the vet and they said bring him as fast as we could so we did and the vet told us that he had Ulcers in his mouth and that as a result of that his kidneys had started to shut down. so My Mother in law made the Very difficut decicion to put him down. He was a very sweet kitty I still hear meowing and look around and wonder where he is he was always jumping up on the counter just to see what you were doing or if it was something the he might like. Now all we have is little miss Madame purrs alot Angel. I sure do miss Tyler as well as every morning he was always right around my feet wondering where his food was.
now he is in the green grass by the rainbow bridge waiting patienly for the rest of us that cared for him during his last two years of life.

Angel the kitty who sensed Mommy was not feeling well

Last night I went to bed not feeling very well. Angel our sweet little Tortie decided she was going to be with Mommy she climbed up on the bed right next to me and would not leave. I woke up at about 2:30 am and she was walking around she saw me get up to take some advil because I was feeling achy. Once I had climbed back into bed she jumped back up and would to not leave until I had laid back down to go back to sleep. she then laid next to me until I was asleep. she must have sensed some how that I was not feeling well and just felt like she needed to be close by. Here she is now sitting her next to me as I write this and is wanting her Mommmy's attention. and trying to tell Mommy that it is time for bed as just like kids cats have to have a Routine. so to bed I go as there is a tortie who is begging me to head to bed because she says it is bedtime and also because I am tired after a very long day.

Tyler the kitty who could.

About a year and a half ago My mother in law lost a kitty who was very dear to her. she was so upset that we went to the pet store and found this little scrawny black kitty. His name was tyler he had been negleted and given away because the family who adopeted him was Allergic to him well after this he must have lost the will to live because by the time my Mother in law got him. He was very tiny and scrawny and she could not get him to eat anything. well finally we did find some food that he would eat and slowly he started to gain weight. Now he looks for me cause I am the one who feeds and cares for all the animals now that we have moved. I usually give him about 2 to 3 cans of food a day and they are all usually eaten. and he is really starting to learn how it feels to actually just be a cat again. He started to purr for the first time about 4 months ago really loud. When you sit in any chair he will come up behind you and scratch the chair (claws are removed) and then he jumps up into your lap and starts to knead and mush. he has become a little sweet heart and a dare devil too even jumps up on the counter even if you do not have any food just to see what you are doing. thus why I have called this blog Tyler the kitty who could.
